The Iroko Community Hub is a revamped version of Nigeria's first power station, the Ijora Power Station, which opened in 1923 and has not been operating for years. Like a tree, the hub symbolizes life and growth, creating an atmosphere of exuberance and learning. We have incorporated sustainable design solutions like daylighting, material reuse, recycled glass, solar panels, and rainwater harvesting.
